Projects Library - Refund & Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0
Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

This policy explains the free trial, cancellation and voluntary refund arrangements for paid Projects Library subscriptions.

Projects Library is operated by EU Systems Ltd.

Payments for applicable subscriptions are processed through Creem as Merchant of Record.

Nothing in this policy limits statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

2. 30-Day Free Trial

Eligible new Workspaces receive a 30-day free trial.

No payment card is required to start the trial.

The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. A Customer must actively purchase a paid plan to continue with paid access.

If the trial expires without upgrade, the Workspace enters the 30-day read-only/export period described below.

3. Paid Subscriptions

Projects Library may offer monthly and annual paid subscriptions.

Additional paid seats may be added to an eligible Workspace.

The applicable price, billing period and charges are shown before purchase.

4. 15-Day Money-Back Guarantee

EU Systems provides a voluntary 15-day money-back guarantee on the Customer's first eligible paid Projects Library subscription purchase.

The 15-day period begins on the date of that initial paid purchase.

The guarantee applies whether the first eligible subscription is purchased on a monthly or annual billing basis.

The guarantee does not restart because a Customer cancels and later resubscribes.

This voluntary guarantee is in addition to any mandatory rights that apply under consumer law.

5. What the Guarantee Does Not Cover

Unless required by applicable law or expressly agreed otherwise, the voluntary 15-day guarantee does not apply to:

  • subscription renewals;
  • subsequent subscription purchases after the first eligible purchase;
  • additional Workspace seats;
  • additional usage or other extra charges;
  • partially used billing periods; or
  • charges outside the scope of the initial eligible subscription purchase.

6. How to Request a Refund

Eligible refund requests may be made through the payment/refund process provided by Creem or by contacting:

support@myprojectslibrary.com

Please provide enough information for the transaction to be identified.

Where Creem is responsible for processing the refund as Merchant of Record, the refund will be handled through the applicable Creem payment process.

7. Cancelling a Subscription

A Customer may cancel a paid subscription to prevent future renewal.

Cancellation normally means:

  • no further renewal is charged;
  • paid access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period; and
  • the Workspace then enters the 30-day read-only/export/reactivation period.

Cancellation does not normally produce a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the current paid billing period.

8. Monthly Subscriptions

If a monthly subscription is cancelled, it will normally remain active until the end of the current paid monthly billing period.

It will not renew for the next monthly period.

9. Annual Subscriptions

If an annual subscription is cancelled, it will normally remain active until the end of the current paid annual billing period.

It will not renew for the next annual period.

Cancellation of an annual subscription does not normally create a pro-rata refund for unused months.

10. Additional Seats and Other Charges

Additional paid seats follow the remaining billing period of the parent Workspace subscription.

An additional seat is not treated as an independent subscription with its own separate subscription lifecycle.

Removing a seat prevents the next applicable future seat charge, but does not normally generate a pro-rata refund for the already charged period.

Other additional usage or charges are not normally refundable under the voluntary 15-day subscription guarantee unless expressly stated or required by law.

11. Expired Free Trials

If a free trial expires without upgrade, the Workspace enters a 30-day read-only period.

During that period, authorised Users may view and download their information, use available export functionality and upgrade/reactivate the Workspace.

Normal creation and editing are restricted.

12. Post-Cancellation and Post-Expiry Access

When paid subscription entitlement ends, the Workspace ordinarily enters the same 30-day read-only/export/reactivation period.

The period starts when paid entitlement actually ends, not merely when the Customer requests cancellation while an already-paid billing period remains.

During the period:

  • Workspace information can be viewed;
  • files can be downloaded;
  • available export functionality can be used;
  • the Customer can reactivate/upgrade where available; and
  • normal content creation and editing are restricted.

13. Data After the 30-Day Period

After the 30-day read-only period, Workspace Content may be scheduled for deletion from active systems.

Information may remain temporarily in backups, disaster-recovery systems or legally required records until removed through normal retention and backup-rotation processes.

Customers are responsible for exporting information they wish to retain before the access period ends.

14. Refunds and Workspace Access

Where a refund ends the Customer's paid entitlement, paid access may end when the refund is processed or otherwise takes effect.

The Workspace may then enter the applicable 30-day post-subscription read-only/export period.

The precise timing may depend on the transaction and Merchant of Record process.

15. Exceptional Circumstances

EU Systems may consider refunds or account credits outside the standard policy in exceptional circumstances, including where appropriate for:

  • duplicate billing;
  • an identifiable billing error;
  • a material service problem; or
  • another circumstance where EU Systems determines that an exception is appropriate.

Providing an exception in one case does not create an obligation to provide the same exception in another case.

16. Service Problems

If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or that a material service problem has affected your subscription, please contact us promptly.

We will review the circumstances and, where appropriate, work with Creem to resolve payment-related issues.

17. Consumer Rights

Consumers may have cancellation, refund, conformity or other rights under applicable consumer-protection law.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where mandatory consumer law provides a stronger remedy than this voluntary policy, the mandatory right applies.

18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us or use the applicable Creem support/payment process so the issue can be investigated.

Nothing in this section prevents a Customer from exercising lawful rights through their payment provider or under applicable law.

Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in account restriction where reasonably necessary to protect the Service.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as pricing, payment arrangements, the Service or legal requirements change.

Changes will not remove mandatory legal rights.

The current version will be published on myprojectslibrary.com with its latest revision date.
